In early 2023, the European Food & Beverage Plastic Packaging Summit will be showcasing innovations for a sustainable future over two days in Antwerp. The event will focus on the best strategies for sustainable packaging, including recyclability and packaging performance. The range of topics is therefore quite broad: from material considerations, such as new raw material developments and innovations for polypropylene; to looking at optimising and designing packaging with regard to recycled content as well as compliance with EU directives; to discussing the gap between packaging manufacturers and brand owners; to consumer perception and the impact on brand owners. The summit will provide an opportunity to learn and share information on these experiences and issues, and to discuss consumer demands for the next generation of packaging and its place in the circular economy.
In addition to this review of industry trends, the European Food & Beverage Plastics Packaging Summit 2023 aims to tackle societal and environmental concerns by creating an opportunity for collaboration along the supply chain and providing a platform for participants to network with senior level peers.
The event will be held in Antwerp, Belgium, on 15 and 16 February 2023. For more information click here.
